A Cinderella Story: A Christmas Wish is a 2019 Warner Bros. film. So so so much cringe!! My face hasn’t quite recovered from all the cringe. My teenage self would have loved this movie but my middle-aged self just cringed.
The acting was good, the premise was good and the dog was adorable. Once you make it through the opening music video and question your choices in life, you are rewarded with an opening line that makes it all better. (I won’t spoil it for you!)
Lots of charm but Christmas is more of a backdrop than a setting so there’s no Christmas spirit to be had from this movie. (Oh my goodness so much cringe!) Watch this with your pre-teens, if you have them, and they’ll love you.
